These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LexiQuest app (“App,” “we,” or “us”). By using LexiQuest, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
To use LexiQuest, you must be at least 12 years old. Minors (users under the age of 18) must have parental or guardian consent to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
2. Account Creation and User Responsibilities
a. Registration
Users must create an account to access certain features of LexiQuest. You may register using:
- A username and email address.
- Sign-in options through Google or Apple.
b. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree not to share your account or allow others to access it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
c. User Information
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and use of the App. Failure to do so may result in account suspension or termination.
3. Subscription Plans and Payment Terms
a. LexiQuest Pro Subscription
LexiQuest offers a premium subscription, LexiQuest Pro, which provides additional features. Subscription plans are billed monthly through the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store).
b. Billing and Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Renewals will be charged to the same payment method linked to your app store account.
c. Refund Policy
Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with the refund policies of the app store where your subscription was purchased. Please review these policies for details.
4. License to Use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use LexiQuest for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.
- Use the App for any commercial purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
All content in LexiQuest, including lessons, videos, quizzes, and graphics, is the property of LexiQuest and protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce or distribute any part of this content without prior written consent.
a. User-Generated Content
If you upload or submit content (e.g., comments or forum posts), you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant LexiQuest a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and modify your content for app-related purposes.
b. Prohibited Content
You may not upload content that:
- Violates intellectual property laws.
- Contains offensive, abusive, or illegal material.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
By using LexiQuest, you agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Upload harmful or malicious software.
- Engage in spamming, harassment, or fraudulent activities.
7. Data Privacy and Security
LexiQuest collects and processes user data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to such data practices.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee complete protection against unauthorized access or breaches.
8. Third-Party Services
LexiQuest integrates third-party services, such as Google and Apple sign-in. We are not responsible for any issues arising from these services. Any disputes or concerns regarding third-party services must be addressed with the respective providers.
9. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms.
- Engage in activities that harm LexiQuest or its users.
Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and any associated data.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
a. Educational Content
LexiQuest provides language-learning content for educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes.
b. No Warranty
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all liability for errors, interruptions, or unavailability of the App.
c. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LexiQuest shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LexiQuest harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
